Designed around the female athlete, from shape and fit to function.
Built for women's football.
RTMO was created from a simple belief: female footballers deserve products that start with them. Not men's products made smaller and not unisex because it's easier. But designed for women from the start.
Every product starts with what the game actually demands.
For female players of every age, level and ambition.
Built to grow alongside the players and the sport.
A frustration that had been there for years.
Growing up in football, wearing boys' kit was completely normal. Shorts and shirts were often too big, but that was simply what was available.
Years later, it became harder to ignore how often women's football products were still designed around men first and then labelled unisex.
Starting with grip socks.
RTMO was always meant to become a women's football brand. Grip socks were simply the first place to start.
Most football (grip) socks are made with a unisex, or simply a men's, fit. Men's and women's feet differ in shape and width, so that looser fit can bunch up, create movement and increase friction inside the boot.
After hearing the same frustration from other female players, RTMO started developing a grip sock specifically for women's feet.
Still close to the pitch.
RTMO was founded by Else, who played football for around ten years before several ACL injuries eventually forced her to stop. She moved into coaching because staying away from the game was never really an option. Over the past four years, she has coached girls and women from U12 level through to senior football. That time around the women's game, both as a player and coach, helped shape what RTMO should stand for.
RTMO comes from the Spanish word ritmo, meaning rhythm.
Spain has a personal connection to the story. Else lived and played football there, and the country became a special part of her football journey.
But the name also reflects the game itself: timing, movement, changing pace, combinations and flow. At its best, football can feel almost like dancing.
The vowels were removed to create RTMO, a shorter, sharper name while keeping the original meaning underneath.
Every player has her own rhythm. Her own style, her own strengths, her own ambitions. It's what makes her game unique. OWN THE RHYTHM celebrates that individuality. The freedom to play your own way, develop at your own pace and express what makes you different. It's about having the confidence to take ownership of your game. At RTMO, we believe your football essentials should reflect that same philosophy. Designed specifically for women, with every detail considered around their game. Because your game is yours. And so is your rhythm.
This is only the beginning.
The goal is to build everything a football athlete needs, with the female athlete as the starting point. Fit, function, design and the culture around the women's game all matter.
RTMO wants to be accessible to female players of every age and level, and to become a place where players can feel part of something that is growing alongside women's football.
